What do you think for AirDrops ?

Airdrops is a way of introducing coins to the market which allows developers to gain popularity/fame over a short period of time. It is like a form of making a noise about a certain coin for the investors to see/notice or get interested with. It helps the developer to attract investors, it also increases the number of their community. The main purpose of airdrops is to gain fame, increase the number of people who knows their project that leads to investors investing in them -- prior to their rules like liking a page, joining this and that. It s good that their are airdrops everywhere for us to take part of, but all should be very careful. There are scammers lurking in every corner so be very cautious in filling out forms. Double check and don't give any of your personal passwords.

I always have a hope that one of these coin's price will go all the way up one day and I'll regret if I sell my free tokens from 200$. Airdrop is new things. When I joined bct forum earlier , it's seldom for me to see an airdrop.
So compare with current situation, there are a lot of airdrop that occur recently because many people interest on ICO project !

airdrops are just projects that release their coins free to all bitcointalk users, and it is a way advertising their project to the public, however we may think these free coin is easy money, but in fct we can not any thing with these coin unless we invest in them, you can sell them but they dont have much worthy, so inclusion,airdrops are just a way of advertising.

Offcourse some the Airdrop is very interesting to make some free coin by doing the simple task but at last, when they list in the exchange there won't be any value to the free coins. Sometimes they ask to download the wallets but be careful while downloading those.

Why the end? This is the beginning for most of the ICOs. Airdrops like promotion campaign for new product. Here we are talking about tokens and investments in new product. Of course the safety of ICO this is another question to discuss.

For me airdrops are blessings for those who needed money. But mostly than most don't have value but we can just keep it and maybe someday it will pump.

Ico market is definitely in thd bear market right now. People are finally waking up to realize these projects has raised millions of dollars based on a so called whtte paper. An idea printed out and nets millions for the public, really sick if you ask me. But anyways air drops has been nice, sometimes checking my mew and see some coins that i never heard of magically appearing. My best coins i recieved is omisego cor free. Was a great surprise

The problem with airdrops is that people can easily spam the distribution with fake addresses. However, there are a few exceptions. The Byteball airdrop, for exemple, is preventing that kind of thing by airdropping to BTC/Bytes holders.

I think Aerdrop is an excellent marketing policy, one kind of great contribution for trader.

Yes, most of them are scams, because it costs nothing to create a token and distriibute it through airdrop campaign, real airdrops came from real projects such as OMG.

Airdrop is a good thing as long as you don't have to do much for it. I won't say that it is a threat against ICOs though. They're quite different
