I bought 2 plastic gold pans - and I went panning for gold in a river this passed weekend. 
3 flakes of gold I done found.
Umm hmm.

Probably all of 3 cents for 30 minutes work.

You didn't do enough math.  You need to bank on other people not doing it either.  Buy a whole batch and sell for cash!  Yippee! 
You could probably mine on them also while they are in inventory adding to your reserve!
The money isn't in mining anymore, the new money is selling shovels to suckers.

They've already gone from $520 two weeks ago to $300, so I wouldn't invest too much in that strategy.

but they wont buy forever so difficulty should slow down i think when people stop mining because of too low price and too high difficulty.

as the rate of obtaining btc is getting harder, yes i believe the price would go up as well

supply / demand..its the usual economic
