long term invest in bitcoin

Hello everyone
I have around 2400$ and I have the idea to invest them by buying bitcoin. I plane for a long term investment (few months to year). Best time to buy BTC and best strategy (I heard  about a hard fork will happen soon) ? Other ideas to invest this amount of money for the indicated period of time ?

Lol. 13 years? You have to be really patient to get that target dude. Bitcoin  is probably the best investment you can pit your money into if you're planning to.hold.for a year or two. I'm not really sure though if it will be a good thing to hold past 3 years but who knows. Good luck man

I think best time to invest in bitcoin is a week after sewgit2x. People will sell all thier bitcoin, when that bitcoin will in the dip.

you are a bit late to buy btc, if seen now the price of btc has experienced a very unusual pump. but you just need to wait a little dump to buy bitcoin and do hold, I am sure by the end of the year bitcoin price will be higher.

If a person is interested in long term investment, then there is no doubt that still it is a good time to invest their money in bitcoin. While for short term investment you need to be more careful, In fact the price is now trading above 7000$ that is really a very high price bitcoin has crossed. i am sure that after November the price of bitcoin will take a little correction and can dump a little. Therefore the short term investors should wait a little and when the price of bitcoin will drop down a little then they should invest money in bitcoin for getting instant income.

What I did was I bought btc for 100$ with 6000$ ea. As a newbie I already earned about 10$+ and Im planning to sell this before the fork would end. Not bad for me for I can use this to buy alts before the fork would end so their prices still dip. For your 2.4k$ you can earn about 500$ so not bad for the two weeks fork coz after the fork btc price would dip and if you are not willing to hold your btc for a long period of time, you would probably lose your investment.

I think you should not just go for long term investment in bitcoin but also try to maximize by investing into different type of ICO in the future and also try trading to find a good opportunity to grow your bitcoin exponentially.

As alot of people are saying the current landscape of BTC is too high for it to be a good buy if you want to just trade. For long term investment, BTC is a strong buy though as comparison to the stock market; marketcap for BTC is very small. I plan to hold my BTC for long term regardless of the upcoming fork.

Bitcoin is forecast to be 10k before end of this year so 6500-7000 is still a good position to buy and take profit in 1-2 months. Expected corrections after the fork is also a good time to buy during the dip. If you have that amount it's better to invest that in bitcoin and for sure if you hold that for few years maybe you will earn some profit from that. in fact bitcoin has the ability to give you good profit and in past it has already given good profit to people therefore we are expecting more from bitcoin that it can give us a good profit. That time will be very beneficial for the investor so that there will be a lot of time to invest and on top of it btc will have to face some of dumps because when price reach at the maximum level people sell their coins for sake of profit.

This create a dump situation and that time will be really beneficial for those who really want to invest into the coins and yeah I am also waiting for the dump to occur so that I buy.

For me if you have a chance to buy bitcoin now just do it than waiting for the hard fork because the price increase of bitcoin value after fork has a big possibility to happen as you can see that every fork there is a big changes of the value if you wait that you will regret why you not buy earlier.  Most of the time when i have extra money i always buy bitcoin and keep it for long period of time.
