The safest option is to deal in cash with a high volume seller on localbitcoins.com

Sign a message with your Bitcoin address(es) first. I will give you some names here and you could trade with them using escrow. even if you sign a message with an address containing 50BTC it's good enough.
On a side note, could I beg you for 0.2 just for posting here and if you could sell them using my help then give me 0.5? has any body ever begged you?
I will do it more if you want. loling exponentially.

A private sale will be too risky, the only way to exchange such a big sum of money will be to use exchanges but you will need to verify your account and it is very likely that you are not going to be able to make that movement in a single transaction, and of course you will need legal counsel about the best way to pay your taxes in fiat, so as you can see it is not an easy thing to have money especially if it is in bitcoin form.

Why not trade it in small portions?

Exchanges has some withdrawal limitations I think. They are there to put something in withdrawals of big amount. And you don't want yourself to attract attention from exchanges so I think the best strategy is to break it down in small portions or used different withdrawal methods such as you mentioned. Exchanges is very strict regarding KYC/AML again, if you make such withdrawals, you account may be tag and red flag will be raised against you.
