I see it like this:

  • This is an open market. I am no friend of regulations, and I believe many here share this opinion.
  • Only in my first auction did one of the PT-operators win some shares. In fact it was the lowest winning bid.
  • I doubt that the PT-operators will bid a higher price than what they expect to sell PTs for at the exchanges.

@vortex : does it make sense to have some auctions that exclude members who run investments and trading exchanges like TAT and burnside.? (nothing against those guys).

They have a vested interest in buying them at a very high price as they inturn run the market and the share they buy are resolt in their exchanges. I agree that a seller is more concerned about getting the highest bid. But with these kinds of auctions, the stake of only a few individuals will increase in ASICMINER.

But by doing so, atleast the others in the community get a fair chance to own some DIRECT shares of AM.

Just my 2 cents.!

TAT, you are ruining my intended ebay-effect... Cheesy

So far it looks like this:

The stock market today is a war zone, where algobots fight each other over pennies, millions of times a second.
