Project was paused due to possible security flaws in the code. We have fixed things up and re-launched here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2383373Our other developer nizar93 will be hosting all Bitcointalk threads/announcements.

Great! Send us an email at devs@tor.cash if you would like to do a website or client translation. The White Paper is still under works. Algorithm? Wallet? Pool? When we can mine it. Pls give us more information!
The algorithm is Equihash mixed with a unique algorithm called OnionHash, which will be fully explained in the coming White Paper. A Windows and Linux wallet is currently available on GitHub and the main website https://Tor.CashA mining pool should be setup within the next 48 hours, the OnionHash part is what makes this difficult. ----- Many of the unanswered questions will be answered in the Official White Paper, which we hope to release within the next few days.

I don't understand your questions. A very in-depth, well explained White Paper will hopefully be completed within the next couple of days. good project I like anonymous accesses
Thanks, we are hoping to create something really cool here. TorCash is still a baby in terms of development, but the concepts are all there.

Project looks very interesting I installed the TorCash wallet, but status says 'not connected'... Is a .conf file necessary in order to connect to peers?

Go to https://Tor.Cash/airdrop to participate in the start-up airdrop. Project looks very interesting I installed the TorCash wallet, but status says 'not connected'... Is a .conf file necessary in order to connect to peers? Some of us were getting the same error. Are you sure your network settings are configured correctly? The .conf should be in in AppData/Tcash/tcash.conf That is like with many other fresh coin releases - a false positive. Compile from source if you're not comfortable running the binaries provided - they are only provided to make things easier. Any nodes Dev ? Wallet did not sync
I thought we fixed this, but it looks like you're not the only the having troubles. I will look into this and post a working release asap

This is a false positive, most likely from the freeware install wizard creator I used. I'm removing the binaries now until I fix this.

This is not only virustotal result but also windowsdefender, kaspersky and norton. I have never seen any fresh coin has a trojan like this.

Jiangmin AV says - TrojanSpy.MSIL.net and Sophos ML AV says - heuristic Windows Defender, Kaspersky, Norton, and all the other 64/66 AVs say it's clean. Either way, I've removed the binaries until we can fix the false positives. If anyone wants to participate, they can compile from source
