Hi to all Bitcointalkers,
For your information, I just bought an used BitMain AntMiner S7 with about US$600. Below here's the specification for the AntMiner S7:
Bitmain S7Hash Rate: 4.05-4.86 TH/s ( depends on batch) Power Consumption: 1210 W (at the wall, with APW3, 93% efficiency, 25C ambient temp) Power Efficiency: 0.25 J/GH (at the wall, with APW3, 93% efficiency, 25°C ambient temp) Rated Voltage: 12.0V+5%, should not be less than 12.0V Chips per unit: 162x BM1385 Dimensions: 301mm(L)*123mm(W)*155mm(H) Cooling: 2x 120mm fan Weight: 4kg Operating Temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C Network Connection: Ethernet
The seller told me that I can expect to mine around 0.039 Bitcoin/month with this AntMiner S7 (not sure it's true or not, since the difficulty is getting harder and harder...)
I was wondering, how to calculate the electricity for power consumption? Let's say, if a 1kWh costs me US$0.15 here, what is the estimate cost I need to pay monthly, if I open the AntMiner S7 24/7?
Looking for some genuine feedbacks, thank you very much.
