I definitely wouldn't rule it out, although I'd say a much more realistic prediction would be quite a bit lower. 10k would mean over 50% increase in two months... While this isn't something that BTC has not already done in the past, nor would it surprise me, my pick would be somewhere halfway to 10k from this point, if all goes well.

I think it is not possible, knowing that there are only two months remaining before this year end and I think even if the hardfork will be successful, it won't be enough for its value to increase at that big. Bitcoin is now priced at 6000+ that you've mentioned, and to think that it need to increase 4000$ appears to be quite not possible. Maybe early 2018 it will be able to reach that amount.

I don't think so because that means the price of bitcoin almost doubled or i can say about to increase around 60% again. But if there will more adoption and that becomes real to the price of bitcoin wroth $10k in the future. You can see if the latest jump caused by a rumour and remember if that was only a rumour that related to the china market.

I am very optimistic that the price of Bitcoin can increase and much better than today. Realistically I prefer the price range of about 7000 $ to 8000 $ that can be achieved by Bitcoin Until the end of this year. see its development so everyone will believe that Bitcoin will at least be able to increase from 1000 $ to the end of this year. It seems to me that $ 10,000 is too high a price to achieve it this year. Besides do not forget that in November we are waiting for another fork. The price right now is around $6400. Thats not even close to doubling to get to $10k, just to be clear. $10k from this price is only a 56% gain. That seems a lot more doable than a 100% gain in two months doesn't it!

I was thinking we'd hit $10k in April, but honestly now I could see it happening in January! So I think it is possible it could hit $10k in late December, though I think more likely it'll fall a little short of this and we'll get $10k in very early 2018. This all of course relies on the hard fork not seriously screwing with things.

While I definitely agree it's unconventional, looking at USD value in BTC is mathematically the same as looking at BTC value in USD. If more people would look at it that way, more people would realize why BTC is actually very close to 10000$ value.

Also, due to constant inflation, USD is actually losing value more or less constantly, it's certainly not fixed.


I'm not saying you are wrong, I just want to stress out that looking at the same data in a little bit different way can give you a good clue why something could (or couldn't) happen. Or rather, why it wouldn't really be hard for something to happen (i.e. BTC reaching 10k$).

Considering the exponential growth of Bitcoin and the price surges within just weeks, it might reach 10,000 USD before or on the end of this year. However, I think that this is doubtful. There will be another hardfork that may cause downtrend or may cause "drama". Also, I am predicting that there might be a build up of resistance on the 7000 or 8000 dollar mark. We won't see Bitcoin climbing every time. Bitcoin will come down eventually.

Well, we're already in November and we just hit a new ATH today(6591$ @Bitstamp), by the looks of it, we could see the 7k this month, although the hard fork can put a stop to the weekly price increase but not for long. We also need to prepare for the Chinese market, apparently there's  new exchange operating in china called ZB.com, but we have yet to see if it can help to pump up the btc price in the upcoming weeks. I'm not $10,000 is possible this year, but maybe around the 8k? i hope so.

I believe it will have value more than $10,000 by the end of this year. Just remember what happened in 2013. I am just foreseeing the replica. Yes, in 2013 bitcoin managed to test four digits and in 2017, I believe it has all the potential to have values in five digits. By potential I mean the adoption rate. Other than that nothing decides bitcoin's value, right.

We may have prices near $10,000 also. But one thing is sure. Bitcoin will not stop its journey as there is no proper reason for staying calm. So, we can expect more crackers in coming days.

So my post yesterday the price was only $6,500 and now it has gain $400. Current price now is $6,922 so this is something that was unexpected by most of us. I'm worried now that with these crazy increase the price can go down in a rapid pace too. Though the growth in value happening with bitcoin seems to be crazy, it's real growth. The price between yesterday and today has got a lot difference. Bitcoin on rally within 24 hours, take a leap from $6440 to new ATH around $7341 (based on coinmarketcap) and still standing at $7063 levels across global exchanges. Hopefully $7K become the new bottom line for bitcoin price.

Not impossible, you see how bitcoin break new ATH just in few days and it's really awesome, and if it still keep continuing, the $10,000 new ATH can even be achieved within few weeks.

Today price of bitcoin is already 7100 dollars and Im very happy because they reach that. But I think 10k dollars is possible to happen but I think its only 50 percent only. Because the fork is near and we don't know if the price of bitcoin will increase or it will decrease. But for sure after the fork the price will increase because they don't have doubt in the mind of the investor .

I think it is possible but bitcoin reach $7,000 before the end of the year more likely. Stable development, whether this year or next year is also good.

$6,500 now and $10,000 at the end of the year I don't think so that it is going to happen that we will see bitcoin's price getting there. More close that this is going to happen on 2018. We had seen the price movement is positive all of the time but I'm expecting that there will be some dips soon and correction. I'm comfortable that we will be there but for this year I don't think so.

If bitcoin continue to rise with this pace, 10000$ mark will be not far. But I expect it will surely hit it and too this very year only. Since the demand is steadily increasing with the massive growth in its adoption rate, the more powerful and stronger bitcoin is not too distant. But at this moment everything is unpredictable as anything could happen right now while it can even go higher than my foresight...

So my post yesterday the price was only $6,500 and now it has gain $400. Current price now is $6,922 so this is something that was unexpected by most of us. I'm worried now that with these crazy increase the price can go down in a rapid pace too. However, I'm setting myself to be good with $5,500 so if that correction comes any moment from now, I'll be good with it.

Though the growth in value happening with bitcoin seems to be crazy, it's real growth. The price between yesterday and today has got a lot difference. Same when you think of the price of bitcoin during the same time period with the present makes you understand the growth is real. No need to be into panic. In correction the price might fall and gets recovered in a short.

We are now at $7,150 so we are very real of heading to $10,000. So ride the train or get on the board now or you'll be left behind. For just a week, the increase has been real and many says that there will be some dump and it's on its way but I doubt it. A correction can occur for the meantime but I'm sure it can recover immediately.

That would be unlikely but also possible. In my opinion, it will not reach $10,000. My prediction would be after this year.

It is very unlikely but reaching $7000 was also pretty unlikely so to be honest no one can be sure about this and as this month fork is also coming Segwit2x which is the most probable reason for this rise in price.I think that bitcoins might reach around $8500 to $9000 over that it very hard and bitcoins might even crash back to $4000 or $4000.Well bitcoins are very unpredictable so expecting $10000 isn't surprising as this year bitcoins has gone from $900 to $7000 which is very huge rise.

It might or it might not. The pricing is now at a whopping $7200! I think we are nearing a peak and soon comeback down for a correction. Also, Segwit2x is drawing near.
