BFL Jalapeno

Hi,

I am new to bitcoin and would like to start with a 5gh BFL unit to start mining. On hand units are too expensive but I am thinking of trying to pick up a preorder spot. Any thoughts?

That is what I hear, new orders placed directly with BFL would not be delivered before 2014. I was referring to try and pickup a resell preorder. The ones who have them in hand are selling 3K+ but maybe a late 2012 or Jan Feb 2013 could still come before August 2013?
