hello all, new member here trying to rise up the ranks.

I guess a good topic to start off would be what do you guys think BTC will be in the next month or so with all the hype recently. Since that ~125 crash its been floating around 100-113 for the past couple weeks...kind of scares me  Undecided

I think bitcoin is going to go sub 100 for a while, a few months or more, but once it enters the next rally, it's going to be making a new all time high such that no one will be able to ignore bitcoin anymore.

Yeah I'm all about keeping hold of a few Bitcoins.  I want to get to 50 in my wallet. That should buy me a long enough stay in Japan so that i can set up a Bank account.  Grin

Go to the speculation subforum and start reading - there's a lot of crap to wade through but there's a lot of learning too.

What's funny is there are posts from few years ago with people being really scared because the value of a BTC was dropping from, say, $11 to $5 and so they were getting out. Yet now it's floating around $100.

In other words. don't panic because of short time scale drop. Wait for long term drop before freaking out that your investment is worthless. It is normal for bitcoin to spike down and then back up, short term dips don't really mean a lot.

In five years they will either be worth thousands, or nothing.
