It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

That depends on what Android wallet you are using and how secure your phone is. Use wallets that allow you to backup your private key/master seed. It is more reliable and more secure. If you're looking for a recommendation, take a look at Mycelium. It is the best Android wallet by far. Mycelium lets you backup your private key/master seed and I have to say it is reliable. I have used it for more than two years and never had any problem. As long as you're practicing safe device usage, your coin should be secure.

If you're planning to store a large amount of Bitcoin, don't do it on mobile wallet. Choose hardware wallet like Trezor or Ledger instead. Oh, you can also connect Trazor/Ledger to Mycelium too by the way.

The safest wallets are offline hardware wallets. I would not suggest having a wallet on your phone but that is just my personal opinion.

In my personal opinion, I think wallets that are on unrooted and or encrypted android phones(without all those pirated apps) are safer than wallets on a Windows computer, as there are tons more viruses that are made for Windows operating systems. But of course, I heavily prefer hardware wallets(Trezor, Keepkey, Ledger).

No need to be afraid. As long as you have access to your private keys and your phone or computer aren't infected or what then you have nothing to worry. If your funds are big then divide it to make it more secure.

They will be least secure from all other wallets, so software PC wallets or even online wallets.
Smartphone are in theory secure, but by installing various 3rd party apps ur risking security breach and people do that a lot. Second thing, physical security, someone could steal your smartphone.

Be vigilant.

I think Mycelium is one of the best for Android. You can pair it with for exmaple Trezor to confirm transactions if you wanna be extra safe.

They are available but I do not recommend them because of the fairly easy susceptibility to nerve damage and their slightness and safety.

According to some videos I've watched, the software wallets are less secure than hardware wallets, but you also have to weigh convenience too.  Just don't give out your Private Key and keep only what you need in a software wallet.  For long term more secure storage use hardware.

There is a General thread about wallets ("Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?"). Please ask any questions there.
