The 0.01 BTC is quite small amount for investing (just the transfer to invest site will costs you 1%  )

It's actually 10% since a normal transaction fee is 0.001 BTC  Yes, I would agree that there are too many scams in crypto as well.
There are scams in mining, investment, HYIP, Altcoins(see the shitcoins in Yobit), ICOs and there are scams in faucets too. So you better be careful while investing the amount. Indeed 0.01 btc is a small amount and you must know that whereve you invest the amount, it will only generate a small amount of profit. If I were to invest the amount, I would have done it in trading, yobit investbox or Bitconnect(although the amount is less for it).

The best thing to trade between currencies. Buy OMG these days and when you get good rate, sell it for ltc and so on..  Mining things are too outdated these days

OMG is currently low now and it's -9.6% down at bittrex. I don't have to check other exchange on this moment but for sure all of them has red percentage.

And as for the OP that 0.01 BTC now converting to the price of bitcoin that's quite low for big traders but for starting traders, that's totally a lot of money.

It's just a lesson learned for you and it all happened to most of the people here that invested to those scams and later on regret it as we are not aware of their scamming tactic.

But when it comes to decoding the internet of investing "Machines" I'm at a loss. I found a really nice site that did mining contracts that was paying out well. (coinpeak.biz) Then the service disappeared off the face of the planet. So I was hoping you wonderful people could share tips, tricks, and things you have found that work well when investing and making bitcoin without mining.

Stay away from those kind of sites because they are going to scam you dude. We've been there, done that.

As far as generating income, the best way is through trading. Although your .01 BTC is small, but for starters like you its already a good amount to start. you can go places in altcoin trading. But you have to choose what's coin you are going to invest. You need to research and used your common sense here. I can't tell you which coins to invest because we really don't want to spoon feed you, we want to you learn it by yourself and as you journey, you will gained a lot of experience making you a successful trader. Just stay positive and don't be affected or too emotional in trading because you may likely make a not so good decision that will wipe out your investment and profit.

if you want my advice I say start trading altcoins. that is what I did anyways. looking at all the different ways of investment and all these "promises" of profit I found out that most of them are either scam or not worth it. there are very small number of them that actually are worth considering as an investment and those give very small amount of profit.

that leaves us with trading. and trading is not an easy job to do. but it is possible to learn it and figure out how the altcoin market works in order to make a decent amount of money each week. and finally to turn your 0.01 into 1 bitcoin. start doing it with small amount and try to watch the market and look at the charts a lot, you will learn eventually.

That 0.01 BTC you have lost on that coinpeak.biz is not that high but I know if you worked hard for that money and you did invest to bitcoin, that's something unacceptable when someone ran with your money. How did you invested with that scam? Did someone used sweet words just for you to invest with him? If someone will try to convince you with this type of investment again don't believe them then. There are no tricks on crypto investment, you must be fully equipped with knowledge and understanding. You have to invest with that using your time.

This is a good advice but he has no money. He has only 0.01BTC for investment, it is a small amount to earn more benefits. Low value altcoin is a good choice for the moment.

Never heard of that website and it does seem scammy to me. I d go with DMD Diamond, have been holder for over 4 years and it has brought me nothing but profits. As you can see, I ve been into crypto for a long time and tend to avoid sites without STRONG and long lasting reputation.

Now will be the best time to invest in altcoins since the fork is near and the price of altcoins have reached the bottom.

My suggestion is to hold the coins in your wallet if you are not that familiar with trading. Holding the coins in your wallet itself is like a long term investment.  Definitely its price will rise after fork. So that time you will get the profit. If you are good in trading, then you can try that also. If you are not familiar with it, then observe it for a week or do a thorough study about it before entering into trading. Why you suggest them to invest on cloud mining? All cloud mining websites at the end going in scam.

0.01btc is very low amount for anything serious. But whatever you decide deposit your money only on trusted service. There on forum you can find information about all of crypto service. If not, stay away from there.
Now is hard situation for altcoin. Think to exchange your btc for right altcoin and then you need to wait maybe two weeks. You can earn +0.01btc on this time.

Your amount of capital is too low to get good amount of profit even keep it for long period of time it only generate small profit. You must try to gamble and test your luck because it has a possibility to make you rich regardless the amount of your capital if you are too lucky but it is a very risky method and most of the users are lose it capital. Don't buy all the gigs and concepts posted by the guys with negative trust ratings here because they suffered that kind of trust rating because they've done something wrong. Also in investing never give any specific details about yourself to someone who is not familiar here. some mining is good but its not recommended because its so risky and not sure if the site will turn to scam.There's a lot of job here that you can earn with no invest but first you need to read a lot here in forum.You can join in some open campaign to earn but you need a lot of knowledge because you need to do constructive post in that

Nothing is small to start investing. Now he got 0.01BTC but slowly he can increase that amount.
