Please help...

I registered today at https://app.avesta.io and sent 2.75 ETH to my AVESTA ETH WALLET in order to take part in the ICO...

I sent the ETH over about 4 hours ago but it is still not showing up in my AVESTA ETH WALLET. The eth transfer is to the correct ETH address, I have checked it several times and it has 700 confirmations... Please tell me what is going on ?

Also a serious spelling mistake on your webiste...

https://www.screencast.com/t/ok2Ph6WKOX

It says:
"You dont have founds in your wallet"

It is meant to say:
"You dont have funds in your wallet"

I have noticed that in the ETHERIUM deposit page it clearly says "Built by Avesta Developer Team. v0.9 BETA" but under the normal homepage it says "Built by Avesta Developer Team. v1.0 BETA".. Could this error really be a novice mistake like you forgot to update the etherium deposit page to the latest version :O

OK now I am really getting concerned....I setup an email alert on etherscan to see what happens to the 2.75 ETH I sent over...It has now left that Avesta ETH wallet and been transferred over to a different wallet. What on earth is going on here... This is really starting to look like a SCAM!!!

ICO deposits automatically are forwarded to the COLD-WALLET, many exchanges and platforms work this way.

No, the CEO is originally from Iran. Ancient Iran was called Persia, and the religion was Zoroastrianism. Avesta is religious texts of Zoroastrianism. That's what I guess it is.

Hi,

I'm a small scale miner and I'm really keen to take a look at the platform when it is released with a view to doing some mining.

Do you have a release date for the platform yet? On the roadmap it says January 2018, is this still the case?

Thank you,

Mark

Their platform has launched in beta state.

There is the client so you can put up a node and a CPU miner (uses 'AvestaHash', a proprietary hash algo).

You'll need to:

- Register on the site to get an account
- Go to the blog post where there is a link to download client and miner.

I'm currently waiting for the client to sync, it's taking a while, guess there not many peers yet.

Oh, and if you have questions contact them on Facebook. They answered my questions in minutes both times.

It's a long road ahead for them, but at least they launched something 👍

Well, after about 4 hours the chain finally sync'd and I started the miner.... CPU usage is holding at about 99% so it's doing something.

Theres no output from the miner window so can't tell you exactly WHAT its doing..

I did some digging and thier client seems to be built on cryptonote, but I have tried pointing XMR stak at the RPC port and it tries to connect but it just times out (tried both monero and aeon).

Looks like it's CPU mining only at the moment, if that is in fact working..

Left the miner running all night but nothing got credited to my account. Either the difficulty is really high or it's not working.

I can't tell which it is due to a lack of output from the Windows.

I have messaged them and they said the are going to release an updated build with a readme file, there isn't one at the moment.

Update From Development:

- Updated version of Avesta Block explorer
- Avesta Fork was created after the ICO which allows new fields to the blocks to accomodate for the miners.
Meaning also older versions of the Avesta Node (during ICO period) will not continue to sync.
- Mining Rewards will paid every 3 minutes
- The first period mining rewards will be delayed because of an error in the payment nodes
Avesta Development is working hard to fix up the backlog (which is several tens of thousands of blocks)

Known Bugs:
- Visual Errors in the platform, explorer
- Mining Rewards not showing
- The node shows "TX verification Failed" This is because another node already processes the Transaction. (message will be removed next update)

coming soon:
Mining statistics Public and Private
Q1 Avesta Exchange (Beta Version)

Due to the Theft of the Laptop of our Main Dev, Development will continue as soon as possible.

Thank you for the info.

Sorry to hear about the loss of the laptop, hoping everything was encrypted and backed up!

Please post as frequently and as often as you can, it will really help engagement with the platform.

Edit: I just found this.. https://youtu.be/g_rbJ9iFh-4

We have all seen some iffy ICOs before, so it's nice to see there's real people that are happy to go on camera behind this👍
