I was a part of around 7 or 8 free groups and couldn’t stand the incessant messages. I felt like I wasn’t getting any value and had to sift through so much useless stuff before I came across any signals, but even then, the signals came too late (their way of trying to encourage you to their paid channels). Also, as you say, there was the issue of lack of proper analysis from a lot of these free groups too, which was a concern.
