I logged in today and it said "Sorry Nightowlace, you have been banned from posting and sending personal messages. Virus"

Anyone know what that was about? I had to log out, turn my VPN off and now log back in.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Your VPN IP must have been flagged for something?

Yeah I'm not sure what for though. I don't think I have done anything remotely close to getting an IP or myself flagged.

Is it a public VPN where there may be a couple of users on there?

It must be. i tried visiting Bitvisitor.com with my Spotflux VPN running and get a message about my ip being suspicious

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

The VPN used might have been used by a spammer before. We regularly IP-ban a lot of accounts, and most TOR nodes/public VPN's get blanket-banned together.

Ahh, yes it's a public VPN. Thanks for the help everyone. I seriously was scratching my head going how in the heck did I get banned?
