In this market, which is now - I only buy altcoins to trade short term trading. And profit fix is not in bitcoins, but in dollars. For long-term investment, I'm waiting for a more appropriate time, and new coins for my portfolio until buy

Bitcoin a mother cryptocurrency is dominating the currency market since its birth. All altcoins are somehow copies of bitcoins. Bitcoin has crossed $19000 mark but no altcoin is even 10% of its price. So why one will invest in altcoins. Why people have shifted from traditional currencies to bitcoin, because they were fed up of traditional currencies and their investments in banks. If anything like this will with bitcoins then and then only investors will shift their investments towards altcoins. But as earlier sail all altcoins works under shadow of bitcoin they have potentials to develop.

With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

Right know I'm buying utility tokens *ERC20 (https://appcoins.io/)  I think is a very easy way for people to participate and is what our dividends are paid out in.

Got big expectations on this one too Im having done some research and asked some questions, unlike most ICOs they have a real product to offer.

I am investing only a small proportion of my capital in altcoins, because taking into account the great growth potential that bitcoin and ethereum still have, my two favorite cryptos, I have decided to keep most of my assets in those two coins. Maybe at this moment I am only investing 20% of my capital in altcoins, but I must admit that given the great profitability they are generating, I may increase my investment up to 30-40%.
I would still in your place consider those coins that are associated with new high-tech fast blockades, I think that in 2018 it is these coins that will grow actively and give a huge profit

Not yet but bitcoin has halved and some believe that alts are way overdue for a nice run-up. I think Ethereum would be the first altcoin I'll buy.  I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes of this. We must not be fooled by many of them. We must be smart in buying altcoins.

now I only buy altcoins because to invest money in bitcoin is very dangerous, at any moment he may fall in price at least 2 times

In order to diversify the portfolio and minimize risks, it is absolutely necessary to buy other altcoins other than bitcoins. For example, on the threshold of the end of the year, a major correction may occur with bitcoin. In addition, some altcoins show in the short run a more impressive growth than bitcoin

yes altcoin is have an unstable price, but you can make a prediction first, so buying altcoin usually for making profit. if the altcoin makinan event or new office in a country usually the price of that coin will increasing, you can buy it before the event is started so you can sell it when the price is in high

Guys, I would not advise you now to buy altcoins-too unpredictable situation with bitcoin. I believe that the best option is to buy altcoins after the New Year, even probably in the middle of the month, to understand where the market is heading. Wink

Right now, I keep around 90% of my portfolio in altcoins. I feel like all that Bitcoin has over most of them is widespread adoption.

For the past 2 weeks the altcoins are the ones who has made the most of the profit, they have passed even btc in terms of gain and profit. So this is the right time I guess for alts.
