Hello honorable members of this forum, I am really confused as at now and I urgently want a clarification on this.
I open mew site from chrome and saw that there wasn't anything like MYETHERWALLET LLC[US] but rather "Secure". I got scared and use used a a different browser to visit the site and this time, I saw that MYETHERWALLET LLC[US] there. I copied the url from chrome where it displayed "Secure" to opera mini and with that also, MYETHERWALLET LLC[US] is seen and not secure.

mew from chrome

mew from opera mini

Can it be that there is something automatically redirecting me to a fake mew website?

I have EtherAddressLookup and metamask installed on chrome, can this also be a possible cause why I don't see MYETHERWALLET LLC[US] anytime a visit the site?

All view are welcome and thanks in advance.

NB: sorry if I posted in a wrong place.

This is link to MEW and it is the same as the one from your picture.
Why is this bothering you? Link is good.

NB: sorry if I posted in a wrong place.
It should be in altcoin service discussion  Wink

If the URL is correct (which in your case it is), then it's fair to assume that it's the correct website. I don't think chrome shows the owner of the SSL certificate by default and just uses Secure, but if you click on the Secure, it should open a popup with the SSL certificate details, where you will see it's owned by MYETHERWALLET LLC (US).

Unless you installed a third party certificate authority and are getting MITM attacked from that, which is extremely unlikely, you're fine.

taking a break - expect delayed responses

It does show the corporation details on my device(chrome as well) so it is odd. I don't know why yours only shows as secure, but you got the URL right. If you type in myetherwallet.com in your chrome with all the right spelling then it's likely something faulty on chrome's end.

I would either install their chrome extension or bookmark their site to make sure that you're not on a fake site.

Don't click on any google ads links, they are all unfiltered.
