I think this is a good experience for newbie. But how to protect yourself from this kind of scam? Everyth was so good from the beginning..

Not showing any info about team is a scam in 95% of cases. If there is info about the team and a clear structure, it is very hard to detect a scam.
Even if the hack is real they could at least communicate

so pissed off, given i didnt invest any money into it but they were "going" to get the coin listed on 3 major exchanges in a few days, i think it was bittrex cryptopia and hitbtc if i remember correctly, if they would have been listed they would have made a lot more $ but then again it was probably just to hype people up saying they would be listed. They put in work to get the price up so they can dump. How does that not make sense? Almost every single ERC20 scam does the same thing: Huge news and a few days later a huge dump on the markets. The whole point of a scam is to make you believe in the project so the price goes up.



Until we get some kind of basic auditing process for these projects - 2018 is going to be filled with 95% ERC20 scams like this.

I've only been here a few months but this is the second time I've seen this exact same thing. ELITE (ethereum lite) also a hack days before major news. The sad part about all this is that it becomes very difficult to trust / find genuine projects.

The news about the AMA and big exchange listings isn't real news - the whole point is to drive the price up. The 'dev' can't get the price any higher than it is now - they need to exit before the AMA and 'big exchange listing' because those things will never happen.
