Hey have used send shared a few times with no problems, for under 10BTC it is usually pretty fast, but the last time i sent in around 4BTC and 12 hours later it still has not arrived. Anybody else had any experience with wait times this long?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

No first hand experience, but from the site:

Quote
The funds will wait in the mixer until new coins are available (Sent in randomized chunks). There is no maximum amount of time the funds can wait for but they will always come out the other side eventually.

I imagine it's having a hard time finding the right matches, but I couldn't venture a guess why.
