pre-snapshot i sent my coins to mycelilum

When I copy and paste my private key from mycelium into coinomi's sweep wallet i get the error "could not recognize the private key format"

coinomi does say supported formats wif, bip38, mini private key. and i thought i read elsewhere that mycelium uses bip44?

any tips or tricks or leads in the right direction?

My keys are not recognized. Has anyone recovered their BTG this way with Coinomi?

Yep, I did without issues. Doublecheck using the correct private key format.

Tried to import my key into Coinomi via the sweep function and its states that the address does not have any funds.

Confirmed on the explorer that it does have funds. Anyone else stuck here or have other options?

Thanks for the guide.

Personalyl used coinomi to import my private keys and everything worked fine. Pretty much got my coins in my wallet and it was an easy process, would recommend others who have not done so already do it as well.

It's pretty much a free $150 at least per bitcoin you hold, if you don't claim it now then i think value may go down in future.

Hmm, then I don't know what to do. Contact their support or try some other wallets ( freewallet is updated as well ).

It is. Right click address, Show prv. key. And there is a little button to show QR.
But I'm using electrum 2.9.3 (3.0 not working on my system) ... and I'm also not sure if coinomi will work with electrum 3.0 (as it is using different address format ... that might be reason why so many users had issues)

BTG was credited to every address that held BTC at time of fork (snapshot was made 25.10.2017). So if you received your BTC later then you have no BTG.

Sweep and enter seed from mycelium to coinomi does not work, key format not recognized, however restore wallet from scratch in coinomi works right away with the same seed.

At first I set the derivation path when adding the btg coin in Coinomi to M/44H/0H/0H, no btg showed up. I added a second btg coin part in the same Coinomi but now without altering the derivation path and the coins showed up right away.

Actually it works. Just exported BTG from Electrum 3.0.2 to coinomi. Thanks!!

OP says you just scan the QR code of your passphrase from Electrum, but that doesn't work in coinomi

is there any way to get electrum passphrase or private key to a coinomi wallet?

or could I take the private keys from electrum and import them to new BTG wallet? my electrum wallet has 162 private keys.....is there a faster way than adding them 1 by 1, or is there a way to figure out which private key has the BTG on it?
