If I was you, I will sell as soon as possible. You should read the specialists' predictions about Bitcoin which says that if it will have a big raise so it will have a bigger fall but the timing is unknown.
At least you can sell the half to ensure that you will not lose too much. By the way 1.5BTC is really a huge amount now.

You should hold them for as long as you can.

It's actually expected due to the upcoming fork. I agree with the reply that you should hold onto it because the fork this November, as I know, would give bitcoin holders an equivalent amount of coins in another blockchain, thus you would gain more coins that you could probably use to trade or invest. Although, on the one hand, they say that the bitcoin value would decrease for a while. So, if its for investment -- hold it. If it's for money, then sell it before the fork.

If I would be asked, I'll choos holding rather than selling in this situation. Indeed, it is really tempting to sell with its value as this expensive but to think that it is continuously rising and there's a hardfork approaching that can also make its value higher, I think it is more wise to hold. But if you feel that you're already satisfied with its value, it is also okay to sell since that is your money.

Hold it ! i do think bitcoin has its potential to grow than its current value . But due to the incoming fork, somehow i  think that if you sell it now and them buy few again when the fork comes, you can profit from it.

You must still hold them. Bitcoin price now already reach $7000 and for sure it will continue to increase its price. I am regretting that I don't buy some bitcoin for last week and I really really disappointed in myself not believing in bitcoin as early as I can. But now I will still hold what I have right now.

It is upto your wish of selling it now or not , because you should have made mind of that this much of profit when you will get you will sell it, if not then you should decide what to do , if you are in profit then you can start selling in split and not in one go. like if you have 1 btc then you can start selling on all high like 20% so each high price you should be gaining profit.

and that's also the reason why I'm thinking that bitcoin will rise more since its Christmas and its bonus month for those newcomers I think they will buy

My personal thinking is that the next psychological limit for bitcoin will be $ 10,000..
I believe there will be more sales orders at that level and that bitcoin could fall significantly.
As soon as the balance of supply and demand is restored, bitcoin will continue to grow over $ 10,000.
