Maybe a stupid question but... if I have my cold storage in Electrum,
I can let the btc sleep there or I have to move the bitcoins elsewhere because of the 2x hardfork?

Yes, let them sleep.
Quick actions are only important for miners and service providers.  As long as you control the private key (and you do when using electrum) there is nothing to worry about.
