As did Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold, the SegWit2x hard fork on November 16 probably will likely cause the bitcoin price to endure a minor correction, specifically a few days before and after the fork.
What do you think?

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I am not sure about it, in fact, today's bitcoin price passed 7000, I think in the near future the price will be 10.000. I wonder the more country do bad reaction to bitcoin the price of bitcoin will soon pump after a little dump. After China ban bitcoin exchangers and ICOs bitcoin fell, only a week or two the price recover and grow higher than before. Today the price passed 7000 I can't predict the price tomorrow but Segwit2x will only have little influence to bitcoin price.

As far as i know, segtwit2x or hardfork affects Bitcoin's market value, positively and even other coins. Recently, a hardfork in August happened and from a value of 2800$ before the fork, it reached 4200$ less than a month. The market value right after the fork increased continuously, and I think same thing will happen in November's fork which will again make its market price more expensive.

The last two times that a hard fork happened (BTC cash and BTC gold), pretty much nothing happened to the price.
Unless this fork is getting hyped really good, I don't think that it will influence the BTC price at all. Most people will try to cash out the new altcoin ASAP.

I think there will be a lot of uncertainty on how this whole SegWit2x without replay protection are going to play out. People

are not going to spend their BTC, because they are going to be cautious. So we might see a small dip in the price, until people

figure out how this is going to work.  Tongue - Remember, this is more like a hostile attack... than a normal fork.  Angry

Prices will adjust for better or worse, You'll have to read a lot of that and watch the past 2 hardforks effect on price.

What you are telling is the main basic thought of every bitcoin users as they have seen same pattern on bitcoin cash fork, but i think most of them have start to sell or sold bitcoins when the price of bitcoin was 6600+ so i think now their is very less chances of correction , even if their then it will be minor correction and we can see more high price of bitcoin before nov 16 hardfork.

The correction after BCH fork was misattributed. It was infact due to China's ban on trading. In any event, how quickly did it not only bounce back but rapidly rise from that brief correction?
