It's less than a month since it passed $5,000 for the first time. The cryptocurrency is up more than 600% in 2017.

This week it had new impetus after the world's largest exchange owner said it planned to introduce bitcoin futures by the end of the year.

It is nice that bitcoin really set another ATH in which makes people who stacked bitcoin so many times really happy right now. But as you can see right now, it flops. I found that funny and I really laugh about that thing though. And right now here comes the alts .

Joke's on you. Dimon piled on the China ICO band and exchange FUD to bring Bitcoin down to $3000, after which they stocked up. They have more than doubled their money since then. He keeps saying that Bitcoin is a scam, but there's really no bigger scammer than him. We don't know if he truly does not believe Bitcoin's long term prospects, but we know for certain that he believes he can use it to make money in the short term at the very least.

As for the all time high, that's just ridiculous. May have something to do with high profile forks just happening one after the other.

The upcoming Bitcoin fork has a lot to do with the huge surge in the bitcoin price. This fork is even supported on Coinbase. That is huge for so many smaller, less computer savvy investors and big banks that want a major exchange that is a regulated financial institution to hold their bitcoin in a safe place. Coinbase will also make the new bitcoin their 4th coin that they trade. I think this alone means it will get greater adoption than bitcoin gold.

Forks are great fun and a tradeable opportunity. So pretty much everyone in on the game right now. Honestly I would wait a week and start buying altcoins hand over fist. You can avoid the bandwagon trade and and make a pretty safe gain.

Naaah, It won't get that high. We have only 2 month till the end of the year and even if you start at 7k it will be a pretty long run to get to 10k. It will need some time with several corrections (ofcourse if one of those corrections won't blow the current bubble). If bitcoin will make a 3k rush in just 2 month then the correction will be painfull AF.

Very nice run BTC run for the past few days. Now we have reached the $7000 level, here we heading to $8000.

It's a nice bull run for Bitcoin, it made a new all time high and more than breaching 7000 USD it had surpassed it. I think think this run will still continue before the fork and will have a correction after. Though the value went up, it is still advisable to hodl and not to sell yet, since the price could go on even higher, I think there is a few incident of profit taking this time, since the value of Bitcoin rose, I think it is safe to say that before the fork, Bitcoin will be breaching 8000 USD.

  Yes, it's a storm. Bitcoin fork will take place on the 15th of the month. I think it's time for me to think. Bitcoin made me good money. Its amazing to get such a news, yeah it was expected because people are favoring bitcoin and are in search of ways to get more bitcoin, because it is providing them a chance to earn more and make their future secure, its good time for investors to invest in bitcoin and receive a huge profit. In future it will go even high because it is taking hold over other currencies slowly.
