Perhaps I'm completely wrong, but sitting here late at night staring at stuff and I noticed: Neither givemeltc or coinotron has found a block in about an hour and a half.

opinions?

scratch that, looks like coinotron just got one.

Any ideas why there would be a drag out delay like that for two of the biggest LTC pools?

Guess I should check the explorer next time before assuming the worst  Grin

Very bad luck I'd say for the hashrates of those pools

It is less bad luck and more likely from the network hashrate dropping from ~21 GH to ~15 GH.  That same proportional drop is probably seen on all the pools.  High difficulty with low overall hashrate means we get blocks that take longer than the target block time to solve.  Good news is that difficulty will almost certainly go down next block change.  Bad news is that any round based payouts are going to be reduced or at the minimum have much higher variance than before.
