At first I thought that you had locket yourself out but it seems like you simply lost the actual wallet file instead. In this case, you are most likely out of luck. Because of the way SSDs work, unlike with HDDs, it is extremely unlikely that you will be getting your file back through any recovery peograms. Since it's 7 BTC that we are talking about, I obviously think you should still try it out, but don't get your hopes up. The best thing you can do is use another computer to prevent writing over the SSD data where the file binary might still be, but I am not familiar with how APFS works and it is possible that it might have already gotten written over/shredded.

Bullshit.  If you were a specialist, you would know recovery of a file from an SSD is impossible.

30 years ago, when the Macs and PC were at the beginning it was a program named NortonCommander that was used to see what is on that disk, sector by sector. I'm not a Mac expert but I know the PC's. I do not know if the old NortonCommander could be used on your Mac, but it could be the answer to recover your wallet.dat

Try and find an antique NortonCommander (for DOS 3.x-5.x or for an old Mac) and with this you can recover your wallet.dat file sector by sector (stop writing on your disk new files, as these new files will overwrite your wallet.dat file).

Try asking here
https://www.thinkclassic.org/
about a software that reads the disk sector by sector.

This is the software

this is where to get it for windows

Update and edit:
A disk has a boot sector, followed by a FAT (file allocation table), follwed by the data itself. When a file is deleted from the disk, only the first letter of its name from the FAT is deleted. The FAT tells the disk controller where is the file located on the disk. Thus, if your file has not been overwritten, by reading the FAT of the disk you can recover the data.

yup Vod you're right it is impossible to recover your data in SSD drives unless you have a software used by the FBI to recover data even from a SSD drives.
