I think the price will depend a lot how the hard fork will end,and I think it is very difficult to predict can this growth continue at this speed in next year.If it continues like this even with some corrections price should be in range from 15 000$ to 20 000$.Of course it is difficult to predict what can happen in one year time,some bad news like big exchange hack can pull as back.This is something like when you go through the minefield with a minefield map which is not one hundred percent accurate.

Precisely, there are a lot of external factors to consider especially with bitcoin's high volatility, thus making it very sensitive to forks, ICO prohibitions or country banning. By basing the price of bitcoins last January 2017 (which was only around $950), I estimate that bitcoin would reach $12,000-$15,000 mark by the end of next year, assuming the forks that will happen will affect it significantly. The pattern that I observed when checking the price of bitcoins is that, it decreases by 2-3 weeks prior to forks but after that, it regains its value and reaching new heights.

From my point of views that the price of bitcoin in the 2018 will be $8000 or $9000 because now the time the price of bitcoin is approx $6000 and there is countinously increases in the price of bitcoin because bitcoin become very popular in the world and it's popularity is countinously increases day by day by the people because people love the bitcointalk because it help the people financially or many other ways like billing, shopping etc. So that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin is $7000 approx.

At first, I thought last month that Bitcoin will only be able to reach a market value of 7000$ as this year end but i was totally wrong. It is now priced at 7400$ and the hardfork is not yet started. After the hardfoek it is expected to be more expensive and maybe, before this year end, it will have a market value of 10000$.

10k by january and $13000 by december 2018, cause that $25,000 price of bitcoin will be obtained after 5 years which foretold by some bitcoin investors and bitcoin professionals.

but as always in crypto currency, nobody knows...

every people have different views about the price of bitcoin because every people have different experience in the bitcoin . Now a days the price of bitcoin is $13000  and this price is reguraly increasing and from my knowledge about bitcoin I estimate the price of bitcoin will we $26000 at the end of 2018 but know one sure about this price how much it will be reached.

This year great things happen to btc and if the price goes up in this way in the next year then prices will be huge and speculations predict that price will be around $40k by the end of 2018 so just have faith in its power and dont get panic with little corrections and dips in prices.

Not sure anyone can accurately predict bitcoin, in January 2017 the best predictions were $10K and it exceeded that, 2017 has been a breakout year for cyptos.2018 will probably see more adoption, regulations and innovations which can also drive BTC to new unprecedented levels. if the transaction cost of BTC is addressed it can reach $50K in 2018

Every year is better than last year and this year was also much more better than last year so next year will be also better than this year because very year bitcoin is going to achieved more target’s and goals which give more energy and power to bitcoin day by day its users are increasing and in next year there is no doubt that some more countries will not only join bitcoin but they will make bitcoin legal so I’m sure next year its price will be more high.

So OP did assumed $14,500 on 2018 and look what happened to bitcoin, it went through our non expected price and even we will guess some good price of bitcoin on 2018 there might be things that can't be explained and detailed when it comes to reality. I would assume bitcoin to be stable and will have a support on $20,000 but I know it can go beyond.

I believe and have feeling that when bitcoin continues to increasing price value and coninue boom im crypto currency world this year of 2018. and I think the number of people supporting in bitcoin will continue grow..and I wish this will be happen in the near future. because the demand of bitcoin in the market will also grow, so my prediction price value will rise in $20k or more..
