Which country do you live in? Most of the exchangers don’t accept credit card nor Paypal due to fear of chargeback.

But there are some sites depending on your country. But you will surely have to undergo ID verification if not you will have to pay huge amount of fee for buying. Like virvox charges around 20-25% for Paypal.

You can also look into cex.io. They allow credit card payment after ID verification.

IMHO, Coinbase and Coinmama would be best for credit/debit/bank cards in the United States. Coinbase over coinmama but they are notorious for having ID verification and your bank blocking their charges. But if you call your bank and shit they may allow the withdrawals to come through. I actually have some of those bitcoin ATM's in my area where you just insert the money but the fees are an upwards of 10% which is ridiculous.

What would be the easiest safest way to turn hard USD's into btc with minimal fee and risk is my question ... ?

Edit: If you do coinmama, you have to tell your bank to allow charges from NBV int.
Hope this helps.

I would recommend you kraken. I have used their services a lot and never had problems with them. And they do not skin you alive like coinbase do.

I think you can do cex.io without undergoing ID. You can use debit/credit card on a limited amount, like $500 daily / $2000 monthly.

You can always do the verification if you need to trade more than that though
