Being Rick Rolled By Trade Fortress

the title of this thread is self explanatory. feel free to post in this thread if he's fucked you over to.

I first met Tradefortress when i was still a wee newbie. i pm'd him because at the time he appeared to be a moderator of some type and i needed advice on who to use for escrow service, as i was negotiating my first trade and didn't want to be screwed. he was very shrewd in his reply, but advised me that John K was the best escrow available. I ended up not using the escrow, and the trade went through successfully (see my deal with just_me in the old GLD [ANN] thread.

Things headed south earlier this week when he hired a new mod on coinchat. Up to this point i thought we had become quasi-internet friends and i trusted him completely. This new mod he hired, randomcloud began muting me and banning me for no reason. so in retaliation, i revealed her whois information i got from her website. This was kind of mean, but she was goading me into it. She would mute me and her and her narcisstic little minions would laugh it up at my expense.I pm'd him on here, and he advised me to email him to discuss further. So i emailed tradefortress. below is a transcript of our conversation. Note how he completely ignores the actions of randomcloud and never acknowledges her transgressions.

No, i'm not saying he's a bad person or a scammer or anything like that. Its just he's being a dick and going out of his way to try and fuck me over. And i'm not saying i didn't do anything wrong either. I did. i went back and apologized and then left. Yeah, i think you are right. I just feel like he's out to get me or just writing me off as an asshole without giving me the chance to redeem myself. Obviously he's never gonna let me back on coinchat. I'm willing to forget that, i just want him to stop demonizing me and trying to destroy my reputation before i have the chance to prove that i'm not a scammer and am trustworthy. Not that i'm gonna ask for a loan or doing any trading on here, thats what exchanges and escrows are for, but i don't like looking over and seeing trust rating -5 under my name when i'm on the forums. to be fair, go back and read my post. I admitted to him as being behind the posting of the user "extortion". this was intended as a joke. some people got it and applauded my genius. others didnt(why would you have a problem with someone extorting scammers unless you were a scammer yourself???) some people actually pm'd me offering to help me track scammers. some people asked if i would hire them to work for me. i pm'd one person upon request and fucked with them. i was surprised when he offered to pay and asked for my address. that was as far as i could go with it. theres a line between joking and scamming, and that line is actually recieveng any money. just so you know the full story. Its not like him claiming i'm extortion is unwarranted. he just misunderstood me when i told him that. i don't think he understands sarcasm or has the capacity to appreciate a good ruse, but hey some people are just on different wave lengths.  

You know what, let me be blunt here i wish i could just go back on my whole experience so far with bitcoin and declare a mulligan. apart from this issue with tradefortress i'm also being extorted by a member of this forum who got my whois information from one of my domains and is threatening to send drugs to my house if i don't pay .4 BTC.... maybe i was just venting a little bit on coinchat. i'm really sorry TradeFortress. shit. i don't know what else to say to prove my story.
