Nope, it is back today, sometimes I need to temporarily take coins off for a variety of reasons, BTC-e is the main exchange I use and I try to keep those coins live as a priority. The reason DOGE came down (along with the cryptsy alts) was to do with the BTC / China FUD and price fluctuations alongside low volume weekends, I wanted to see how far BTC will fall (if at all) and how it will affect the alt prices before I set the coins live again.  This is to offset the risk from a pattern of major price drops resulting in high alt sales volume, I don't like to cancel orders so I tend to de-list the coin for a few days until the values have settled or I can see how the market is trending.

You are also correct that DOGE has been an excellent performer for sales and community support, only trailing BTC and LTC, and I plan to have the coin in a new more mainstream store opening this week, while I dont quite 'get' the coin I intend to make it a permanent fixture.
