I hope I'm not creating too many threads, but I'm curious whether anyone has experience using this feature:

https://blockchain.info/wallet/send-shared

Would it be ideal for, say, transferring money from one wallet that has personally-identifying information associated with it (due to purchasing bitcoins through a site like bitinstant), to a separate more anonymous wallet?

Yes, that's exactly what it's made for, disconnecting transfers from identities.
(Haven't used the feature though, as I had no need for that yet)

Yep! And if you want to ensure you are getting maximum security, you can transfer more than once through the service.

Great.  And is there any good reason not to use that instead of a 3rd-part service like bitcoinlaundry.com?

Don't think so. Blockchain is seen as being very trustworthy so it shouldn't be an issue.

This kind of service only works if it has a high volume.
I guess blockchain's shared send might easily have a much higher volume...
