Account banned after asking info about ranking

Hello,

This morning my account was banned just after I posted a question about my ranking in the meta-subforum. I just understood that when you reach 120 posts, you go from member to full member. Since that didn't happen, I posted my question and after that my question was removed & I got banned.

What did I do wrong?

I didn't copy and paste, did not curse or troll...

You were spamming referral links in posts which isn't allowed. It wasn't anything to do with the post that you made in meta, unless you included the referral link in that too. Nearly all the posts on that account from the 29th of October has a referral link in the post, your lucky you wasn't banned sooner. Referral links are only allowed in your signature.

Ok. I am going to sound stupid but I did not know that, since I have seen everybody posting links in their posts... It did not occur to me that it would only be allowed within the signature.

So am I banned forever or as a warning for a certain period?

I know now that it wasn't ok what I did, so off course I would not do it again because it would get me banned...

Which of the moderators do I need to contact about this, because I don't have a lot of trust in just sending an email to banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com since I like being a part of this forum...

You don't get a warning. It is up to YOU to read and follow the rules. With this happening to so many accounts, how is it you did not know?

Nope, I just have to start all over again. No solution like re-opening the account. Dura lex sed lex.

OP, you won't find a more generous offer than this, so take him up on it. 
I was surprised to see that this ban was indefinite anyway.   You can obviously
write good English and didn't copy paste content.  So you deserve a little mercy
in my opinion and,  more importantly, hilariousandco does as well.  Do have a
look at the rules so as not to earn yourself a permanent ban.

But how am I supposed to remove them as I can't change any post as a consequence of the ban?

Are you sure you can't delete them? Pretty sure you can unless theymos changed it so banned users can't remove posts.

As you can see in the printscreen, I am logged in (status online) but there aren't any possibilities that appear next to the post to adjust or remove them... Unless I can do it in another way?
