Hello everyone!
I'm new in this sphere and I have a question.
What do you think, how will SegWit2x impact on upcoming ICOs? Should they conduct it after the fork if it's planned before?
Thanks in advance.

Its impact at the moment is so great that the crypto market is becoming more difficult to control because traders are buying bitcoins to make their value rise drastically. The ico projects are less interested because they are waiting for SegWit2x hard fork.

there has never been any relationship between bitcoin and ICOs whatsoever. this means no matter what will happen in the future with SegWit2x fork, nothing will change with the ICOs.

the same country rules such as ICOs being banned still apply and the same ICOs with something interesting will gain investors and the rest will just fail.

I did notice an ICO I'm following was scheduled for Nov. 1st and is now moved to Nov. 14th.  B2X futures are now above $2,000, so It's probably a smart move, since I do think people will keep their Bitcoin locked up until then.  After that, I do expect a pullback in Bitcoin and Alts to get a boost.  My main concern here is that people will see the moderate success of these forks and more forks will keep coming.

A lot of people are nit entertaining icos because they are holding bitcoin and waiting for segwit2x. That's why some developers are waiting for the fork to be finished.

I think it will effect Bitcoin core more than the ICOs , I recently read that Roger Ver is planning on dumping his entire Bitcoin core stash and get into BTU instead. I think it will shake the market for a while there unless someone will come and keep them up real quick but it has to be someone with some real power since Roger Ver is well known for promoting Bitcoin and when this guy dumps his Bitcoin core coins it can be frightening to all of the other BTC holders. So I don't know how it will affect the ICOs but I do know that if Roger Ver will do what he said recently it won't be too good.
On other hand lots of people are now buying BTC to get the similar amount of coins in BTU, which is good.

For me people should wait for setwit2x success, the capital investment in ICO will increase because people are buying Bitcoin before November 16. I think in December everyone will focus on more ICO projects

Now that segwit2x has been cancelled, and bitcoin has surged forward, I think there's a lot of ICOs out there that are laughing all the way to the bank, since more investors are more likely to make larger investments in strong, solid ICOs. Also note that other altcoins are also riding the BTC surge, so this means good news for projects running on the Ethereum blockchain too.

I don't really see a connection between the fork and ICOs, but I agree that price surges are usually good for ICOs, because of the higher investment potential, but it's  shame Ethereum didn't take off in a huge, HUGE way. There are some killer token sales coming up, and I'd really liked to have more to invest in them, especially AppCoins and Nucleus Vision.

I've heard of AppCoins, but what the hell is Nucleus Vision about? I checked out their website - Nucleus.Vision - and I think it's an interesting idea, but how come I haven't heard of them in a big way before?
