Litecoin or Feathercoin?

LTC for sure - more stable and connected with btc exchange rate.

Out of all altcoins, Litecoin should be the best one if you want to minimize your "risk." The rest, while they can earn more, have a bigger chance of falling before LTC. Much like LTC would likely fall before BTC.

It did but there are fixes in place to keep it from happening again (or at least proposed fixes).

Basically what they're going to do is create a system (I'm not sure the technical parts) that allows them to throw up checkpoints at any time they need and the nodes would automatically use them to determine the proper branch. This is so that if someone attacked it and created a new fork, the nodes (and therefore pools and such) would automatically divert themselves instead of having to ward off the attacks.

I suppose it's too early to determine if they've adopted the fixes yet because I'm also seriously considering between LTC and FTC (although I mine LTC Currently, I'm looking at this from a day trading point of view)

Litecoin is the only other coin worth looking at. Bitcoin is superior, then litecoin is something that will probably become something very usuable but slightly less popular than bitcoin. Any others are a waste of time.

But Namecoin is much undervalued and is the best investment.

I would like to know if I should go for LiteCoin or start with the new FeatherCoin.

Please let me know what you prefer and why, just to make my decision easier.

I already mine for Bitcoin but since I'm hearing a lot of other alt-coins I would like to use one of the 2 listed above.

Only BTC and LTC were, are, and will (eventually) be worth  something

Right now feather coin is more profitable than litecoin.

How is Namecoin undervalued? This is a merged-mining coin so I don't see it going very far as it doesn't really stand on its own feet.
