I'm glad that the price is so high now. I could not even believe that bitcoin in 2017 would grow so much. But I'm a little frightened by such rapid growth. It seems to me that soon the price may fall
There will be no crash bitcoin is unstoppable now and those who didn’t invested in it in the recent dump are now praying for the down prices but this will not happening in past 15 days bitcoin has given more than 2000$ profit to its investor and people are expecting more so invest now rather than waiting for any crash otherwise you will regret about it when people are securing huge profit and you are watching faces.
No any hard fork is expected in near future and unfortunately if any hard fork occur so I think people will not ready to sell their bitcoin due panic and consequently the price will not crash down even slightly because people have come  to know that are the panics are manipulated and not based on reality.

Hopefully, the next spell of increase in the price of bitcoin will touch the figure $9500 within couple of days although the price is moving around $7500 but it will get starting rise soon.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Your hopes came true while you were typing the reply, bitcoin is now hovering around $9500 on major exchanges.  Grin I can see now how pessimistic we were about the "inevitable" market crash or at least correction.

It's another thing what does market needs and another one what will happen. We have never been in such situation, bitcoin is still new coin, there will be halving, popularity of coin increases and a lot...... So no one can exactly say if it even needs crash or not. Maybe someone will say yes to sell it and buy when it crash, then sell when it rises and make profit. Maybe everyone wants it but as we see it doesn't happens and there is nearly 1 year that bitcoin rises.
it is always good to come back to thread like this to remind one that no matter the wishes and predictions, bitcoin will always do whatever it wants based on the market and surprise a lot of people.

Someone felt bitcoin needed a crash when bitcoin was at $7500 and now that it is $9500 plus, I hope the person is still not expecting any crash lower than $7500. Anything can happen but as long as no FUD is created, a crash would just be in anyone's wildest dreams.

Seriously? Do you think crash needs to happen? Well, with the current trend in the industry, anything is possible though. Its price is getting higher so it's best to prepare.

The reason why a lot of people are looking for the crash is because they are just looking for a position to buy and hoping they can get lucky. That kind of luck is something only a huge FUD can even cause which at this stage of bitcoin's life is something we may not really see much of. Corrections are what we can only be seeing at the moment and the way I see it, bitcoin have been able to pass the stage of such huge corrections.

BTC price need correction. Its price always gets higher and higher, and if market wouldn't get correction — next BTC dump could have horrible consequences
.
If you have been following the charts, you would have known that we have been having some corrections and the fact that they are not huge does not mean they should be discarded and it just says one thing, the market is getting stronger than we can imagine as a little drop now, so many people are on ground ready to gulp it. At this stage, let bitcoin get lower than $8500 and you will see the level at which investors would rush in.

Bitcoin price in India is hitting all records and now the price is moving towards the level of Rs. 500000 and its the signal of price correction. I think the next few days are crucial and we should be ready for a crash.

In the bull run, the market captures positive news and ignores small negative news. When people starts selling to make profits, the prices goes down and every negative news are highlighted which can lead a crash.

Market Needs Crash

There will be evemtually as it can't all be up evrytime. What goes up must and will go down and i think that will be the case though it's going to be more of a correction than crash. Bitcoin's garnered great support recently to even think of a crash anytime soon
The way bitcoin market’s price is increasing and that too with each passing moment, I don’t think so that there will be a crash in the near future.

In fact, the market price of bitcoin will keep on increasing in the coming days as well and this is the thing which will help the investors in making their dream of getting rich to become true. I am very much hopeful that the market price will increase in the future.

But BTC price need correction. Its price always gets higher and higher, and if market wouldn't get correction — next BTC dump could have horrible consequences

What crash ? i don't see any. You can  say its a trend, its the real proof how people are buying and selling the bitcoin and increasing there interest with Crypto Currencies. I heard the price will be increase in December and it is already showing the sign. The price should be 20,000$ by then. I am not a predictor but as we're seeing how its increasing its price so maybe its very much possible.

Bitcoin the price is today $14500 arround and it varring increased and decreased like $2k _$3k per day so it price increase mean the price was so good and no issue in the bitcoin market if go drop in reduced still $7500 means the bitcoin market will totally fall down and bitcoin market also will be crash but it's not possible still drop back like this .

Hard forks these days are even being discarded with everyone knowing they are just rubbish and would end up not amounting to anything.

I am really trying to see how things would turn out at the end with some of these past forks being pushed down, despite all the manipulations to get it kicking. Bitcoin has already touched past $16,500 and what we are still trying to expect is $20,000 which i believe it would be touched slightly and then maybe some corrections after then.

I don't know what to say on this effect but it's like and the price is going up the peoples are getting more interested in Bitcoin. Even from my locality many people have requested they want to know about Bitcoin, so I think Bitcoin is being adopted more frequently in all over the world and with this page I think we can cross $10,000 in around 2 years.

Without the massive price appreciation, most people would not be interested. The people buying bitcoin aren't buying because they think it's a system that is better than fiat or the USD, but because they view it as a system for acquiring more fiat in a fast and risk-free manner. The price appreciation has made people irrational. So you're right, the price going up is getting more and more people interested, and it's the wrong type of people because of the reason they're getting interested.

In addition, those kind of people who are in it for a fast and risk-free manner and also the same people who are going to immediately sell bitcoin in case their is a price dip. The mindset that bitcoin is a quick rich scheme is very wrong from the beginning. And as far as a market crash, its certain to happen, but no one knows when. Still the price today is above $8100 which is very strong still. And we are holding it and the crash to $7500 has never occurred. The only thing that will make bitcoin and any market to really crash is that a negative news or an attack to the bitcoin ecosystem. But as always, sometimes we really need some market correction to go to the next level.

Agreed, but there's no question now that the major parts of this market hold this mentality. Utility of bitcoin, adoption, or the technology of the blockchain don't mean anything to people who are just speculating on the asset price and helping to drive the wild price swings. It's even bleeding out into the traditional market where companies are changing their names to include the word "blockchain" and seeing their stock price double in a week (like Riot Blockchain, which is a garbage company that was a failed biotech and now has doubled this week alone because they changed their name to Riot Blockchain). Blockchain is the new dot com. We are definitely in a bubble, and it's not confined only to the Bitcoin price itself.
