People just need patience in this game and need to get in their heads that in the short term, its impossible to be optimal because there are too much emotions and illiquid markets in crypto however when you look at things in the bigger picture, the markets become more predictable and its easy to forecast how certain things will play out. All you need is a few good solid trades once in a while, but everyone is just prematurely ejaculating at 1-5% gains and constantly itching for the next ones.

In my opinion this is too obvious and everybody is expecting that. Usually if everybody knows and predicts something - nothing will happen. My blockfolio is red everywhere and I really hope everything will stabilize, but I doubt this bull run will happen right after the fork. Maybe next year?

Don't be deluded. If everyone think that the altcoins will bull run, they actually won't. Whales already making some actions and bitcoin will not fall, after the pump but raise even more after all these shorts get liquidated. Alts bull run will be somwhere next year, after the fork they will just dead cat bounce nothing more. I am only holding ethereum and bitcoin right now, alts are too risky in my opinion, no one will know what happens after the fork, maybe btc will go down -50%, then alts will do -90%

Bitcoin has a fantastic ride. I don't know where it'll stop, but clearly made me hate myself for holding certain altcoins.
Normally, sooner or later, the altcoins will have to grow, or at least the better projects. I don't know when it will happen and I hope you're right and will be soon enough.

I've been thinking the same thing. As I hear more and more assuming that there will be a bull run after the fork, the less I feel confident in that happening for some reason. As much as I would be happy for that, I am on the fence for whether that will happen. Might be a nice bounce after the fork but nothing sustainable for too long. Just my two center, hope I'm wrong.

Most altcoin holder feels nightmare because bitcoin holder making more income by holding less than one bitcoin with in some days due to heavy price bumps.
If you are altcoin holder you should buy millions of tokens because when price changes to up you will be able to make high income as number of tokens you have.
If you  bought any shit coins you cannot expect when if will bump in the chart.

After the segwit 2x fork, I think price of most altcoins will rise but I am not sure we will see a bull run in the (very) near future.

you seem to consider the fate of alts and BTC completely unrelated, but i think it's well-knonw that if BTC falls abruptly it'll take all of the market down in the tumble. perhaps only ETH currently has the potential to withstand such a scenario...
