It is the most popular ether wallet ever. I and all my friends are using mew together with ledger nano s to put more security on it. if you don't have nano, only thing you need to be careful is you shouldn't access your mew from a public computer or from a public internet.

I would not store all my coins on MEW, because all can happen with these type of storage. At moment there is no better storage than a cold one like Ledger nano or trezeor. You can keep some ETH on MEW for daily purchase/trading but not your entire portfolio.

me I use it as my daily driver for storing erc20 based ethereum coins.I must say they are safe wallet ever created and by installing metamask is a good way to secure your altcoins and assets . I recommend to install metamask as your extension because ether delta is once hacked and lots of user that is not using metamask have stolen some coins. it is more safer to be secure than nothing

I actively use MyEtherWallet, especially for participation in bounties as it is ERC20 compatible. It is really great, one of the best that I’ve ever used. But you should be carefull as there are a lot of phishing sites around that look the same as original one.

When i was new on cryptocurrency, I never knew what kind of wallet should i use and what is the best wallet to hold my coins for me not to be hacked. I did a research and i also ask those professional traders in this forum and the best answer i get is, Use MEW because the majority of people is placing their coin in this wallet.

I do use myetherwallet paper wallet option. i would have loved to have nano s ledger hardware wallet, but cannot afford it now. If you can afford it, then go ahead and get the hardware wallet.

i think this will be the best wallet so far because it is free and safe but they recommend some other safety measure to prevent your account to be hack as long as you do not click some random ads you will be safe
