I converted ETH to BCH and sent it an electrum wallet address using shapeshifter. I did not realize that electrum did not support BCH until i after i had sent it. shapeshifter support sent me a link to the confirmation from blockchain that the transaction happened. How do i get my bitcoin cash?

It's actually pretty simple.

1. Download Electron Cash[1] (an Electrum fork for Bitcoin Cash).
2. Open the same Electrum wallet that has the BCH with it.
3. You should be able to see and spend your BCH coins.
