Hi,

My main account was hacked and the email was changed so I froze it. I wish to restore it but don't see any easy way to do that. Can someone please help.

Thanks!

And if those steps don't work, post this thread to the Meta board.

That's where the Mods cruise for help requests. Good luck to you.

if you had a stake bitcoin address with your account you can recover it and you can sign message but if you don't have a stake address it would be hard to recover your account you should follow theymos instruction that already posted by Str1x
Or post in meta section about your account..
This is sometimes happening to someone the security question too is not working and only email can  be work..
There are lots of phishing out there so becareful to use your real password in not well know site so that you real password will be safe..

Can you link the account you are talking here? I can check all the bitcoin addresses you may have posted which you can sign a message (that's the only standard way of proving that you own the account while other methods is also possible but most likely it will not be entertained especially if it's time consuming.

Damn, I doubt i posted a bitcoin address.

It would seem it will be hard to recover.

Your not sure? Just paste the profile link then it I would just copy the UID and look at it if there's any address that you can hopefully sign a message.
