hey dev are you even active? i guess not ..this must be just another scamcoin huh?
if the dev becomes inactive it doesn't mean that it was an scam.
Maybe he just dropped it.

I see no problems of EMD at all, all my 3 wallets are in sync and I have been mining it. The price is down because of some traders selling, someone dumped at very low price early today, then the price recovered.

I am not good at hyping the coin, but I can ensure you that the coin is solid. If you see problems, please report them here. If you have sync problems, clean up the config dir (but keep wallet and config file, you can keep the peer.dat too), and sync from scratch, usually it fixes the sync problem.

5coins/block, but the price really cheap!! what the happen?Huh

Noone wants EMD..

Demand may be small.  but it's enough that the coin is still profitable at the current difficulty.

EMD has died!

Do the math dude.  The exchange volume on cryptsy in the past 24 hours was 65122EMD.  That's enormous considering the block reward is only 5.
If you're just looking at the value vs btc.  Ignore that for now.  All alt-coins are losing ground right now, because btc is so strong vs USD.  Looks like it will hit $150 on gox very soon.  Nobody is trading btc for anything else when they can get that much cash for them.  But it will come back, they all will.  You worry too much!

I sync fine,

    "currentblocktx" : 0,

    "hashespersec" : 0,

}

maybe you want to clean up your config dir (don't delete wallet.dat), then resync from the beginning?

dev should release a new version with latest checkpoints.

Version 1.3 is released for Emerald! New checkpoints are added for better security and fixed some earlier issues! Though not mandatory upgrade, it's better that you upgrade as soon as possible!

What's up with not bother to change version in the wallet?
Still says:
Emerald version v0.6.3.0-unk-beta
Just another copy paste coin?

DO NOT BUY INTO THIS UPGRADE , BUY THE COIN THAT IS ALLREADY ON CRYPTSY ..

Version 1.3 is released for Emerald! New checkpoints are added for better security and fixed some earlier issues! Though not mandatory upgrade, it's better that you upgrade as soon as possible!
,,, guys just buy some emd on cryptsy and the vallue will rise .. then the miners will mine again .. and for you picasso .. just show your face once in a while .. do some promotional work (giveaways and lotteries ) tell the people that your coin is better vallue than the other shitcoins listed on cryptsy .. and try to get people to mine emerald ... no offence but you come across as lazy , unmotivated and like "oh well my 400 k premine is dumped no , lets move on to the next project .... but it does not work that way .. being a dev means you have to work ,m promote and make new developements like gambling and marketplaces etc , make services .

and most of all interact with the people that buy your product , people like us !

so get on cryptsy and even other exchanges and promote .. right now would be the best time .GO FOR IT

lol, I am there all the time. The EMD will run its course at cryptsy, let people dump (I am not dumping), the EMD has been around for many months, and people mined the coin and wanted to exit, let them do it. Now the price stablizes in cryptsy, it will rise. The price is still low as compared to the coin per block. The traders will realize its value. Also, EMD is PoW and very stable as compared to PoS coins, which have all sort of problems and stability now.

I am not worried about EMD, the miner dumps are almost done, let market decide its value.
