here is the future of bitcoin mining. there is no any other chip like this one and very unlikely will be in near future. Next step from 55nm they will move same chip on 22nm. Less power consumption more speed. BitFury may dominate ASCI mining for next year or even two.

the whole 1.2 th/s mining will run with 1.5kva power consumption and 10 blades in server rack. Fantastic efficiency and easy deployment, 400 ths on the way to end users

they are 120 ghs each, on lower side, maybe more practically. total 1200 ghs. First batch will be ready Augusts/September. Problem is that they do not ship internationally, so I will have travel to Moscow and bring it personally. Price you are quoting is too high.

it is legit 100%, they did not touch your bitcoins. Bitcoins which been paid remains untouched till you receive your miners. If you buy bitcoins from them, they will let you to keep bitcoins in your valet too. People behind this project been around for a while. With one of them I done a lot of trade before. Bitfury known for producing most powerful FPGA mining rig in history of bitcoins. http://www.bitfury.org/

they already have first prototype chip and testing it. All on scheduled August/September. I will try to broker larger order from second batch around 20 trh. First batch gone in few days.

At least some counter balance against Chines invasion. ASIC miner bringing 200trh in few months, that is not 51% attack but well over  100%, AVALON sold chips on 600trh.

BitFury still a way ahead. task to deploy mining in 1.2 ths with ASICminer blades is pretty laborious, it is 120 blades in four 42U size server racks producing a lot of heat and consuming  around 15kva power. Not mention difference in cost.

Blades are not worth with regards to cost. Well but they were the only thing that you could have put your hands on.

well, such things usually, you can hear from people who do not mine themselves. How it does not worth? I mined already more then 250btc almost 25% paid back. I can mine few month more and sale it cheaper then I paid for it and I will be in good profit. So it exactly worth it with regards to cost. There is no anything where you can invest 120K usd and get similar return. So it worth in regards to cost very well.

bitcentury blog

Distributor taking pre-oders. Moscow Metabank ship only for Russia and do not take any more order as far as I know.

Distributor for Europe and they included India upon my request

this kit can be upgraded later up to 400ghs by buying this modules

http://www.bitfurystrikesback.com/product/bitfury-55nm-asic-h-board-oct/

on European site 25 starter kits with August delivery are gone.

but American distributor  still have them, I'm sure he will ship to India too
https://megabigpower.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=54

this kit itself great deal, where else you can buy 25ghs for 1300usd and its include also Raspberry Pi and installed software.

here is how it can look in case

I am a bit confused. Please answer these short questions for me :

1) How much does 1 chip from bitfury hash at ? 120Ghs?
2) How much money do they want for 120Ghs? Or how many btc?

1) How much does 1 chip from bitfury hash at ? 120Ghs?

1) Demonstrated performance 2.7 GH/sec @ 0.835V (0.8W/Ghps)
https://megabigpower.com/shop/index.php?route=product/product&path=33&product_id=56

that can be overclocked also, so I presume at the moment there will be two or more boards with different design and overcklocking possibilities.

2) 25GH Miner Starter Kit (August Delivery)  $1,300.00 you can add to that kit 25ghs modules up to total number of 16. each additional module 25GH will cos t$500.00. that way 125ghs will cost 1300 + 2000 = 3300 usd

Bitfury project developing in good pace. Giving chips for testing for free resulted in many different PCB designs and now it difficult to count number of available boards : 1chip usb, 6 chips, 8 chips and 16 chips and even more.

Private pool is funtioning and giving 8trh at the moment https://ghash.io/

Chips for sale available 1 btc per chip and less for larger amounts. Naked PCB available and PCBs with all parts soldered available too, Just solder chips your self and you are good to go.

That may be a good news for those who ordered Bitfury and not so good for those who own 1st gen chips, as Bitfury going to add 170 trh to network very soon.

October - November Scene is going empty pockets of miners. Paradigm shift, currently cost of mining devices and ROI was one of main restricting factors for entering mining. From October onwards we may have many choices, available to ship now and on dirt cheap prices. Avalon 55nm devices promised to be shipped direct without pre orders from mid October and it will have server blade design (very nice). Bitfury second batch mid October too and in November we will have new chips from ASICminer seem to be 55nm too.

Second batch of Bitfury promissed to be continuous one. Owners of Bitfury chips very eager to sale them now when it still command high price, because when difficulty will jump to 100-150 mils, no body will be interested to buy them at all.

Future is bright for those who has money to spend on new mining devices. And not so bright for those who planing to recover their investments from 1st gen chips. Lukely for me ASICminer are offering compensation for 1st and 2nd auctions blades and I may have opportunity to convert my blades into new 55nm devices in November.

Wish you best luck in your endeavor.

Cheers.

India was second after Argentina on number of bitcoin valet downloads in July. Thanks to Benson, interest for Bitcoins in India growing. Still for me it is  virtual only, in my daily life, I can talk to one person only about bitcoins. He is electronic engineer and helping me from time to time. General public perception pretty xenophobic. Mining even worse, Ohh .. you are manufacturing money on your own, without a license, I see ... have a nice day.

ASICMINER is very solid company, their new chip in November will be number 1 offer on market. Non of present asic manufacturers operates such funds as ASICMINER, we can expect best deal from ASICMINER I'm sure. Also by November all craziness of growing network hash rate may stabilize. then we may have opportunity to invest into more predictable and stable business.  I will be waiting for November and stand by on buying from Bitfury's October batch. Also I would expect ASICMINER shares going trekking in November. This week dividents been good also.

For now Bitfury delivered, how the things will unfold in near future have to be seen.
