I have setup p2pool (as per
https://github.com/forrestv/p2pool) on a local server, and have 2 clients I want to connect to it. I just used the machine name for all of their user names since the docs said that it just paid the -a address from p2pool if you gave it a random name.
But I left it mining for about a day with 0 shares (from the web stats page) with the 2 "external" (they are on the same LAN) cgminers connected while the p2pool server itself was not mining. Then within 30 mins of starting up the server cgminer I got a share... and I just keep getting them every 1-2 hours now. So I am a little confused. Do I need to use the bitcoin address on the 2 "external" miners . Or was this just bad luck, or some other weirdness?
