Transaction still pending in hitbtc

My BTC withdrawal didn't produce any transaction hash related to blockchain after I have done the email confirmation and is still pending until now. I have already contacted their support team and asked me to wait for 48 hours (#42215). Anyone experienced the same problem?

Not for me but since they have told you to wait 48h it's best to just wait that out and see what happens. Hopefully they will stick to their words and release whatever coin you had in your pending withdrawal.

However, some other people have said that there is fishy stuff going on with hitbtc.

Make sure in future, don't store too much on these exchanges.

I've read a similar case before where no transaction hash was shown until after the transfer was completed. Maybe you transacted with a huge amount of money because even if verification isn't needed for cryptocoins transactions, exchanges are still subjected to KYC and AML policies.

Well I know it sucks but still you have to comply with them and just wait for 48 hours.

However, some other people have said that there is fishy stuff going on with hitbtc.

Make sure in future, don't store too much on these exchanges.

Exchanges are always fishy imo, even if they aren't now, theres a high possibility that they will be someday.
Yah. Use it as an exchange not as a wallet so don't store much.

My withdrawal got through before the support could contact me. I'm not entirely sure what transpired there but my guess is there has been a congestion (is that even possible?) in a certain stage of my transaction. But what really baffles me is that I have traded and used their service before but this is the first time this has happened. Well as for using this exchange, I'll probably limit myself from using it from now on.

I have tried to withdraw some like yesterday or day before yesterday but found that they have temporarily disabled every deposit/withdrawal in the name of system upgrade. I think your withdrawal also gone through some problem and they might sent you manually at last. I have made several withdrawal from them before and still using them with little amount.

This thing happened to me on which when you do have 1st encounter on this kind of thing on any exchanges you would really be alarmed since we are transacting money on here.It did take hours for the transactions to be broadcasted on the network.You would really doubt since this thing doesnt been faced before on early times. Even on coinbase and c-cex once withdrawal have been confirmed on your email but the transaction didnt instantly appear which you expect then you will normally be alarmed.For now we are already aware on such situation but i can say Hitbtc is a good exchange.
