Hello guys,
I am going to buy a few GTX 1060s/1070s in the coming days...
I want to know at what rates you bought them and what make and model they are of...
Also please tell me in which city you bought it and the name of the trader too..!!!(If you feel like sharing it only)

I got my gtx1070 from someone in the US ( via Amazon) . If you can source it from there and 'smuggle' it to india , you could save upwards or around Rs.10K/-  If you are okay with paying the delta , there are suppliers on amazon who do sell at those rates.
One question though - if you are into mining - Why specifically Nvidia ?

The RX 480s are supposed to be the best bang for bucks but since they have been stopped... I think the GTX1060/1070s have taken over... By all means correct me if I am wrong...

And yes I will look into the "smuggling" part😂😂

Was there a time before the mining boom that these cards were reasonably priced or are these like so high end that these prices are normal?
I am pretty sure that 1070ti is listed for upwards of 50K at amazon and the 1080ti goes upto something like 80000!!

that'd make a 120 MH/s rig to cost upwards of 3 Lacs!!

Any cheaper alternatives that you guys know of, please let me know too..Afterall, its all about insider trading and information in the crytpo world right now..

Yes. The prices of ge force gtx 1070 ( SC version )went up by around +$70 in the last 6 months ( currently its selling for around $430 on amazon.com)

I meant it in a playful "help out a bro" tone. Traders are making money through manipulations right now and information is what can get you rich quickly in crytpo. This phase is about to get over with mass adoption though and we all hope the market becomes focusses on products soon enough.

Anyways, Those of you who are buying GPU's, how are you usually going about it.
