Jameson Lopp, a BitGo engineer, and a lead developer thinks that Bitcoin is seeing a surge in its price mainly because of the upcoming fork that's coming in the way this 16th November. According to the charts, the price rose harshly during the month of October following the news that CME and CBOE will allow Bitcoin futures on their exchanges and the surge started from 3300 to over 7400 which is over 2 times and more than 200% in just a period of 30 days.
