Triple Trouble!
https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Av8nVSd1JT3QdHd3bmlqRVhnc2FUb3pWNVhiWmdQbHc&hl=en_US&authkey=CLfNk90P

It's like double trouble, except with a 3X payout!

This is how the game works, for newbies:

1. Send a payment to the following address

Code:
1Nqrhtj6TJxxHAV5Sve1qQJv6iZ3t3BuyF

The payment has to be at least 0.05 BTC, there is no maximum.
Make sure to use the Bitcoin client to send the payment, not an online wallet.

2. Wait for other people to send deposits. Once there is three times your deposit in the pot, you will get paid three times your deposit!
Please note that a fee of 2% + 0.0005 BTC is taken from the pot, but you will still be paid the full X3.

3. The game will continue until no payments have been made for 7 days. The game operates in Greenwich Mean Time (http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/) and starts at the time this thread is created (12 PM)
After the game has ended, the remaining BTC in the pot goes to the operator.

Please note that the spreadsheet is not updated instantly or automatically, everything has to be done manually.

Yes, well, that's kind of the idea. Less people get paid, but the ones who do get paid more.

I'm pretty sure the days of 100+ line games are over, considering my first one is the only one I've seen that big.

I think this could run longer if people realized they can play it like a 1.33x pyramid... for example, deposit 1BTC, wait until you're next in line and there's 1 BTC left for payout and then put in another one.

So, you get three bitcoins for two deposited, but you also have the second deposit left so that it can be multiplied in the same way next time the line catches up.

Of course, someone will still lose in the end...  Cheesy

Exactly. I also play 2x pyramids like this, especially if I end up being the only one making a deposit at the beginning. For example:

1. Deposit 1 BTC
2. If no one else deposits, deposit another BTC
3. Get your 2 BTC back (minus fees)
4. Wait for other people to (hopefully) deposit
5. Profit!

And if everyone played that way, 98% would get their deposited amount back, and only 2% would lose due to the fees...
