Paradise Papers tells you everything you need to know about the world we live in today. Those who enforce regulations and levy taxes from all of us are those who circumvent regulations and dodge taxes.

If a decentralized monetary system were to replace fiat, it will destroy the very foundation of corrupt governments who wield the power and trade power for monetary favours from monstrous corporate entities who trade wealth for being able to influence government policies. The mark/victim in this three card trick is all of us, the Joe Public. The sheep are those who swear by banks and their fiat money regulated in the sole interest of the minority with power and wealth.

The question for the everyman is simple. Will you ever wake up and fight for your freedom? Will you fight for democracy? Will you fight for not only a decentralized economic system but also a decentralized political and legal structure? Or will you just tweet and forget about it tomorrow and carry on being duped by a powerful minority?

Folks, let me tell you this. No matter where you live, you DO NOT live in a democracy. You may live in a 'representative' democracy which is not democracy at all. It's all an eyewash.

The day when blockchain replaces the current political, legislative and fiscal systems will be the day we shall have realised true democracy. But it's not going to happen without a great struggle.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

You just gave me an idea for a ICO for a descentralized P2P database 3D printing blueprints of assult rifles

Not all revolutions require bloodshed and I certainly don't believe the Blockchain revolution does. A revolution inspired by the likes of Gandhi, MLK, Mandela focusing on enlightenment and ultimately civil resistance to plutocracy which masquerades as democracy. The first port of call is to educate the masses brainwashed by banks, governments and corporate monsters who exert undue influence and control over our everyday lives.

Very good post. Education and awareness are key to people taking back some power from the elite and putting it back in the hands of the masses. Not a shot needs to be fired...no bloodshed is necessary.

Most of the "average" people in every race, religion, country and culture want to have more equality and to not be controlled by the wealthy and corrupt. This may be the opportunity to reclaim some of that.

I hope this gives people an opportunity to provide more for themselves and their families in some places where that isn't easy. It would be cool to see some of these smaller/poorer economies find ways to flourish.

it may also be the expectation of many people, but to change it is not as easy as turning the palm of the hand especially in politics, and the very successful financial revolution is the emergence of blockchain with bitcoin currencies.

Did people really think shit like this wasen't happening? People don't need to wakeup, this is what's going on and if you were in power you'd be doing the same things to fully circumvent the taxes and regulations that are in place for the 'normal' people in society.

Bitcoin isn't going to do anything for this, as people can still hide behind Bitcoin if they really try to. As we've seen with Bitcoin mixers and other things, this is if people try hard enough. And we know by the way the rich act when it comes to things like offshore bank accounts and shit, that they're going to REALLY TRY hard to hide as much as they can. So it'd be easy for them.

You can't 3D print any decent assault rifles though; maybe you can print some lower receivers (which is what the US defines as a firearm anyways) but the rest of the components would wear out much, much too quickly for them to be useful in any "assault" capacity. You're still missing the trigger mechanism, the other like components for firing including the bolt group, etc. Those aren't things you can get anywhere outside of America, typically, without also being able to purchase the rest of the gun. And the lower receiver would wear out much slower than other parts of the firearm.

Most 3D-printed firearms and/or components have images you can share cad(?) files through already anyways.

Well the idea is completely right but I don't think right now world is ready for this change to happen because more than half of the population doesn't know a thing about bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies and 70% can't afford internet and its services.. it is sad but first we need to get over the poverty crisis that is so prominent in our society and then address the issues regarding literacy rates then only can we say that yes we are ready for this change to happen.
Because before mass adoption we do need mass acceptance and before people accept they should know what it is and have at least experienced its usage terms once.

The funny thing is, during the Athenian times, Athens had a full democracy. EVERYBODY that wanted to make a vote on a political decision could do so. There were no 'elected' members of parliament/congress. Everything truly was in the power of everyone.

The ironic thing is, for some reason or another, this system was thrown away and discarded. Probably because it doesn't work...
Politically, I think decentralisation is impossible to achieve. However, economically, it may be.

So you're saying people just accept corruption as the norm? As for, 'you would do the same', that's just psychological projection. The very fact you think it's normal and dismiss it illustrates the degree of societal degeneration. Forgive me for being an egalitarian. I'd like to believe that I am not alone.

Bitcoin will not be the answer in its current state. So many ignorant people are happy Bitcoin is going mainstream but it's not going mainstream as much as going the same way as fiat with the rich and powerful cornering the market and steamrolling the everyman. Bitcoin will be a virtual fiat currency and just like the democracy we are led to believe we live in, the decentralisation would be a mere eyewash, we'd be paying taxes for the coins we hold to further fund offshore accounts in tax havens for corrupt leaders and their minions, and your assets will be controlled and regulated by various institutions. Again, all the regulation will be for regular folks only.
