There is always a new "setup" being produced so you need to do some research is what my suggestion is and see what is the newest and hottest mining setup. Mining tools are like new iPhones, apple is always coming out with new iPhones that everyone wants and needs. Mining equipment is always developing and if you don't have the hottest new equipment. Then someone else does and has the upper hand of having a contract. Any other comments regarding this? I would like to learn from others as well and understand their thoughts and opinions!

Wrong wrong wrong.  S9 is not the only way. It’s actually one of the worst products on the market.(in reliability )  Grab a few Video cards.  You won’t be out thousands when they inevitably crap out.  Useful for other tasks other than just a door stop. And if crypto turns out to be the success everyone claims it will be. Then the pennies you mine now will be worth a fortune later.

i heard about bitcoin mining and want to get into it but there are so many options

whats the best way to get into mining in november 2017??

Various types of miner machines available in the online markets bro. If you are looking for the decent profit please check the antminer s9 ASIC miner to start your mining career.
There are many people invested their money in ASIC miner rigs set up only get the more income. If you initially want to start mining means check the USB miner or GPU miner to start it.
These are better mine altcoins like ethereum, xmr, zcash and etc...

If i had to choose i would really decide to mine with GPU than on ASIC alone since you can able to extent the possibilities of mining wide variety of altcoin depending if they are mineable or not but the main thing here is that choosing the worth altcoin would really be hard because we dont know if it would really be worth of our time and effort to mine those coins. Its still need a risk. Antminer s9 is the current and latest bitcoin miner or any other sha56.It is somehow expensive but if you can afford then it doesnt really matter at all.

Are you mining Bitcoin or one of the plethora of altcoins? Bitcoin is specific coin and contrary to what many idiots think not a general term for all crypto coins.

If you are mining Bitcoin, ASIC is your only profitable option as using GPU is over 100x slower for BTC.
If you are mining altcoins, whole different matter and then aside from Litecoin or Dash the GPU's are still the best solutions.

On making decision about setting up a mining farm, you need to consider several things,
First, How much is your electricity rate- bitcoin mining consume a lot of power and income is relatively proportional to your cost.
Second, climate on your area- mining device produces a lot of heat and you don't want those machines to over heat.

The "best" setup is what makes sense for you. If your electric costs are low, and you value reliability over power then I would go with the Avalon 741's. You could even use some of the older models and still be making money. If you ,like Jeremy Clarkson want " More Power" then for now you will be wanting to grab an S9 and rolling the dice on what works and for how long, you might be one of the many lucky people who get a fully functioning unit for the long term, or you might slowly watch bits die off here and there.

Best bet is to research the current equipment being offered by the main operators at the moment, and pick one after researching them. This forum is full of info, and very similar questions.

Anyone have a mining rig they wanna sell to me?

You should look in the marketplace to find equipment.
