My younger brother is so into LOL. I'm trying to watch him and see how the gameplay goes and how it's different with what I'm playing - DotA 2.
From my observation, LOL seems focused on quick, successive, and repetitive firing of skills. And the graphics for me is a bit to comical. DotA on the other hand has the right balance of what a team game should be. I like the wide variety of heroes to choose from and how creative each character is designed.

I tried LOL and just wasn't into it. I think it was the graphics that scared me away. I definitely think the ranking system in LOL is a lot better. I got addicted to DOTA 2 and it's no turning back. I love the graphics and gameplay a lot better. Seems smoother.

For me Dota 2 because it is so nice to play and it is so popular right now. I don't know but i love playing it

I prefer play League of Legends. For this season, I’ve reached Silver III on EU West server. For next season will try to take Gold.

No doubt, dota 2 is the best online game of this generation, LoL is kinda childish, its graphics effect isnt that great like in dota 2. So overall, dota is the greatest

Tried almost everything. Dota2 is the purest essence of MOBAs.
I prefer more action and fights so i play HOTS.
