Why did LitecoinFoundation delete posts from this thread stating that the Litecoin DEV team does not know WHO you are?  Please explain.  Trolling event?

Its not a scam. You never are in the Litecoin IRC chat, are you?

They announced this 2-3 days ago. Try to keep up on things before calling people out.

Chaang-Noi is the person behind the donation. He (or their group) is the wealthiest LTC address out there. They've already discussed why they aren't donating to the foundation, but directly to Warren and Aspect. Again, you'd know this if you joined the chat and asked.

Listen, when I see someone who is PART of the DEV team not know about it that is a reason to disbelieve it.  So calm the fuck down buddy.

Aspect did not respond on irc and honestly might not have a clue.

If he does not want the ltc that is fine. It was expressed to us he had done a significant part of the new client and we fealt it would be unfair to not reward him as well. I will ask the full 2k to be sent to warren.

Also aspect was messaged on this forum about this before his scam thread.

Bythe way i am not the richest in ltc land but the group as a whole hasa good shot.

I am waiting for Warren to wake up.  We are actually quite well organized and keep in constant contact with each-other.  I would phone Warren up right now, just don't want to do that as he has not slept in almost 2 days debugging & testing the client.

None of this has been discussed nor on the private dev channel, nor on the QA channel, nor on our mailing list.  I don't know who posted what on IRC.  If something has been announced, it should have been announced on the Litecoin forums and I am _sure_ this would become a major topic on the dev side.

Furthermore, creation of a foundation has been discussed internally just few weeks ago and it was decided to postpone this.

We formed in 2012 when there were no active devz but greedi.

At the time the name fit. Now coblee is back and we have warren as an active and skilled dev we might change our name.

We are speculators who formed to help ltc. We are happy to see progress and wanted to hand out the ltc we collected ages ago.

A good shot at what?

Like I said, I will wait for Warren to wake up to make any further statements in relation to this.  All I know right now is that few of us in the development team who is online right now have never heard about any of this.

I just messaged you on IRC.

I will wait for coblee or warren to get in on this and other threads before having any further discussions in this regard.

In my personal opinion, if you wanted to donate and your intentions were honourable, you should have done just like all other donors and contributors.

Im not at home at warren  is the only dev guy we talked to. We can do what we want and do not answer to the current dev team.

Again we do not answer to you. All you should do is refuse the ltc not claim scam.

The last dev fund we supported was run by greedi and you know where that money went. We are more careful now.

I answer only to Coblee.

I refused the funds and I did not claim this to be a scam. I simply asked to justify your existence as an organization other then a domain name or identify who you are.  I also stated that a new bitcointalk account with 0 posts offering donations and stating in the topic 'LitecoinFoundation.org donates 2000 LTC to wtogami and Aspect for 0.8.2' which is not true (as 'donates' denotes present and past) and that this looked suspicious.

When my response https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=236506.msg2499524#msg2499524 has been instantly deleted from the thread without anyone responding or explaining or discussing, I instantly created a fraud accusation thread.

If your statement states 'XYZ donates' this will be interpreted by community members as donation challenge being reached.  If you then do not do that, it will be damaging to the donation fund.

Next time, do not delete developer responses but post actual responses to it in the thread.

Did you not read the thread?

They clearfied that.

Also you started a thread in the scammers section...

You can answer to coblee but we dont. We were formed at a dark time in ltc history.

So you owning a huge stake of LTC gives you the right to decide to be someone or claim some rights that you shouldn't have ?

seriously who you think you are ? and what are you even arguing about ?  why didn’t you just send the donation like the rest of us ? do you want us to make a song about you donating so you go more viral? what is the whole point of that anyway?

- if you have a good attention just send the LTC to the address in the original thread and that is it, why you even complicate things when there is no need to, except if you have other attention!!

Wow, would be great so see 2k donated to the fund raising so that the 5k bounty can be triggered. That would be awesome!  Kiss

We want to reward positive work. We gave to the last dev fund and it was umm... lost.

We can give to who ever we want it is our money.  Aspect caused the drama. He could have politly declined.

I will tell you again, aspect freaked out, I think it was an overreaction but he has totally the right to do so , the way you stated things was really wrong, now every one is watching, if you have good attention of all this especially now , you just donate the 2K to the Address in the original fund raising thread and let Dev's decide between each-other. you just can add a note that you wish this LTC goes to X and Y, and let X and Y decide whether take it or leave it for the development  .

I honestly thought be knew. I understand he did not and his reaction is reasonable.

Sadly our org took almost a week to agree to give the ltc the way it wanted to.

Also it did so cuz the last lead dev stole the ltc. We want to pay for work done.

What happened to it?

It seems like Litecoin development is heading in a good direction now, so it might be worth considering donating to the main fund?
